1. About this policy
This policy describes how ClipRemake handles data when you use the website, your account and its AI tools. Read it together with our Terms of Service.
2. Information we keep
- Account: you sign in with Google or with an email address and password. From Google we receive only your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID — the
openid,emailandprofilescopes. With email sign-in we store a salted password hash, never the password itself. - Photos and videos: the photos you upload, any name or topic you type for templates that ask for one, and the videos made from them, so you can watch and download them. Original photos are deleted after 30 days; you can delete any video at any time.
- Billing: your plan and credit packs, order references, amounts and credit history. Card details are collected by Stripe on its own checkout page; we never see them.
- Acquisition: on your first visit we record the campaign source, medium and name from UTM parameters, the referring website's domain (not the full URL) and the landing page, to understand how people find us.
- Security data: session records (time, IP address, browser) that keep you signed in and protect your account.
- Feedback: messages you send through the feedback box and our replies.
Google user data. We use the name, email address and profile picture we receive from Google only to create your account, sign you in and show who is signed in. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with anyone except the service providers below that run the site. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google service. ClipRemake's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove our access at any time in your Google Account under Security → Third-party connections, and delete your account (and the data Google gave us) from account settings.
3. AI requests
To make a video, your photos, the template you picked and any text you type (for example the topic of a rap) are sent to our video and text model provider (APIMart, which runs the Seedance video models and, for templates with lyrics, the model that writes them). Photos are passed through short-lived signed links. The provider uses them only to produce your video; its own terms also apply to that processing.
4. Service providers
We use Cloudflare for hosting, database and file storage, APIMart for video and lyrics generation, and Stripe for payments. Each receives only the data needed for its part of the service. We may also disclose records where the law requires it.
When an order is paid or refunded, the order reference, amount, product and account email are sent to the operator's own order log for reconciliation. Card details and payment credentials are never included.
5. Cookies
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in.
- Preference cookies — your theme and language.
- First-visit cookie — a signed record of how you first arrived (see section 2), kept for up to 90 days and saved to your account when you sign up. Where no source was captured it is recorded as unknown.
- Visitor ID cookie (
vid) — a random first-party ID, valid for one year, that ties together the steps of our own product analytics (details below).
Page-view statistics (Plausible) are cookie-less. The only analytics cookie is the first-party vid above, used for our own product analytics; it is never shared with advertisers.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account from account settings removes your profile, content and credit history; payment records required for tax or accounting are kept for as long as the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can view and edit your profile, download all of your data as a JSON file and delete your account at any time. For correction, restriction or other requests, contact us — we may need to verify your identity first.
8. Security
Private files are only served to the signed-in owner. Secrets are stored encrypted or as platform secrets. No system is perfectly secure; please report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
9. Children
The service is intended for people who can lawfully hold an account and agree to its terms. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

Photos and generated videos
You must have permission from everyone shown in your photos. Do not upload photos of minors, celebrities, public figures or anyone else who has not consented. Videos are AI-generated. Remake templates put the people in your photos into the original viral clip and keep that clip's sound, which belongs to its rights holders; you are responsible for where you post the result (platforms such as TikTok may mute or remove it). Scene templates film a new shot in the trend's style with music made for the clip (some have no sound). ClipRemake is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok, Instagram, CapCut, or the artists and creators behind the original clips; it never imitates a real artist's voice. If you add other music to a video afterwards, inside TikTok, Reels or another app, that is your responsibility and is governed by that platform's licence. When you post a video, follow the platform's rules for labelling AI-generated content. Original uploaded photos are deleted after 30 days. Photos and videos are private to their owner, except temporary signed links that expire within one hour. You may delete videos or close your account. Contact support@clipremake.com.
Product analytics uses a first-party visitor ID cookie named vid, valid for one year. We record page paths and actions such as choosing photos, generating, viewing offers and confirmed purchases. Analytics payloads do not contain your photos or the text you type. Events associated with your account are included in account export and deleted when your account is deleted.
