Short answer: to make the Bad Times AI video, open the Bad Times AI template on ClipRemake, pick You, Your pet or Your baby, add one clear photo and press Remake this. Whoever is in the photo takes over the viral kitchen argument: head in hands, hand on the hip, the "hold on" palms, the stop palm, then the charge at the lens. Pets do it standing up with real furry paws. About five minutes later you download a 15-second, 9:16 MP4 with the song on it and no watermark. One video costs $9.99, and there is no free version.
What is the Bad Times AI trend?
Bad Times is a lip-sync argument. French creator @bouuhyachaka filmed herself in her kitchen on September 9, 2026, captioned "Ça va barder!!", and acted out a full-blown row with whoever was holding the phone to "Bad Times" by Imael Angel. She grabs her head, puts a hand on her hip, flaps her palms as if to say "hold on", holds up a stop palm, then strides into the lens to jab a finger and slap a palm at the camera.
The trend exploded when AI versions appeared on September 22: a dog and a cat standing on their hind legs in the same kitchen, arguing beat for beat. Couples, friends and toddlers followed. That is why people search for it as Bad Times AI, the Bad Times dog and the Bad Times trend.
The joke is the commitment: total fury at the person filming, over nothing, from someone who could not possibly be that angry. So the version you want keeps the kitchen and every beat, and only changes who is arguing.
Who can be in it: you, your pet or your baby
| Pick | Photo | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| You | One adult, face clear, waist-up or full length | You take her place in the kitchen, in the clothes from your photo, on every beat |
| Your pet | One dog or cat, the whole animal in view | It stands on its hind legs and argues with its front paws, never human hands |
| Your baby | Your own baby or toddler, with your consent as the parent or guardian | A cute, harmless toddler tantrum in the same kitchen |
All three are the same price, the same 15 seconds and the same kitchen.
How to make the Bad Times AI video, step by step
Step 1: Pick who argues
Open the Bad Times AI page. At the top of the maker, choose You, Your pet or Your baby (1 in the picture).

Step 2: Add one photo
Tap the photo box (2) and choose your photo. What makes a good one depends on who is arguing:
- You: one person, face clearly visible, no sunglasses or heavy filters. A waist-up or full-length photo carries your outfit into the argument.
- Your pet: a sharp photo of the whole animal, face and fur in view. Dogs and cats work best.
- Your baby: one baby or toddler alone, in good light, in their own clothes. Only your own child.
Step 3: Choose the sound
The switch (3) has two settings:
| Setting | What you get | When to pick it |
|---|---|---|
| Trend sound (default) | Your video with the clip's own 15 seconds of audio under it | You want it ready to post, beat for beat with the original |
| No song | A silent video | You will add the sound inside TikTok or Reels, the safer way if an app mutes copyrighted audio |
Step 4: Press Remake this
Press Remake this (4). If you are not signed in, you sign in with Google first. If you have no credits yet, you pick a pack: one video is $9.99, and bigger packs and plans cost less per video. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. If a render fails, the credits come back on their own.
Step 5: Download and post
About five minutes later the video is in My videos. Download the MP4: it is 15 seconds, 9:16, with no watermark. Switch on the AI-generated label when you post, and tag whoever the argument is about.
What your video looks like, beat by beat
The kitchen, the fixed phone camera and every beat come from the original take. Only who is arguing changes:

| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 0:00–0:02 | Bent over with head in hands, then straightening up furious |
| 0:02–0:06 | A hand on the hip, the other flapping by the face: "hold on" |
| 0:06–0:09 | Both palms up, then a flat stop palm at the camera |
| 0:09–0:11 | Striding toward the phone |
| 0:11–0:15 | Right at the lens: finger jabs, then a palm slapped against the camera |
The pet version follows the same beats with front paws. In our dog example it stays at arm's length a little longer and then pushes its nose right into the lens at the end.
How to add the Bad Times sound on TikTok or Reels
- You kept Trend sound: the audio is already in the file. Post it as it is.
- You picked No song: in TikTok, tap Add sound, search for "Bad Times" by Imael Angel and line it up so the head grab lands on the first beat. Reels works the same way with Audio.
Tips for a better result
- One subject per photo. A second person or pet in the frame confuses who should argue.
- Clear light. Daylight or soft indoor light keeps faces and fur sharp through the close-up at the lens.
- Make a set. Make one of you and one of your dog, and post them back to back with the same sound.
Is it free?
No. Every video is a real render that costs money to make, so there is no free version, free trial or watermarked preview. One video costs $9.99, the pricing page lists packs and plans that cost less per video, and failed renders are refunded in credits automatically. Unused packs bought by mistake can be refunded under the refund policy.
